How to resize a video?

Upload a video
Here is a step-by-step instruction for starters. Open Video Resizer in your browser from any device (PC, phone or tablet). Click ‘Open file’ and export the video by dragging it or selecting in a folder. Wait for it to be uploaded: it can take up to 10 minutes for large files. Small clips are processed in a few seconds.

Select the size
Once the video is opened in your dashboard, you will see the list of instruments in the sidebar. Click ‘Resize Video’ and select the dimensions you need. It can be a 1080p resolution or any other you choose. You can also change the aspect ratio in our cropping tool. Feel free to use other tools featured in our inventory to edit and improve your video. Add texts, subtitles, effects, overlays, and so much more.

Choose the format
Click on the corresponding button to select the video format. Our resizer works with all known file types: MKV, MP4, AVI, FLV, MOV, 3GP, WMV and MV4. If you don’t choose the format, your video content will be downloaded in the default format (or the one you uploaded). Encoding will take a few minutes.

Save and use your video
When you’re done editing your resized video, click Save, and the result will be downloaded on your device in default or chosen format. No watermarks - you will get a high-quality video that’s ready for use and publishing. Note that changes in size and additional effects impact the final file size.
